What is the difference between this Band Sealer and basic hand impulse sealers?
A manual hand sealer requires pressing each pouch individually, sealing only 5-8 pouches/min with no date coding. Our Continuous Band Sealer (DI-BS-PACK-800) seals 20 to 50 pouches/minute hands-free along a motorized conveyor, delivers a wide 10mm ribbed leak-proof seal, and simultaneously prints manufacturing/expiry dates and batch numbers in one continuous pass.
How does the solid-ink date and batch coder print on plastic and foil?
The machine uses a heated solid-ink roller that transfers quick-drying ink via a rotary brass type wheel. The ink dries instantly upon contact with the pouch surface, creating clear, smear-proof, waterproof prints that do not wipe off even on glossy laminated or metallic foil pouches.
Can it seal heavy 1 Kg, 2 Kg, and 5 Kg Atta or Rice pouches?
Yes! The conveyor belt handles up to 5 Kg total distributed load. For 1 Kg and 2 Kg pouches, it runs smoothly in standard horizontal mode. For taller 5 Kg pouches or liquid packs, we also supply an adjustable vertical conversion bracket that allows upright pouch sealing.
What is the power consumption of this machine?
The total electrical load including heating elements, cooling fans, and the conveyor motor is only 650 Watts. It runs on standard Single Phase (220V) household power and consumes just ~0.65 electrical units per hour, costing less than ₹5 per hour to run.
